CertifyAIVerify

Out-of-state small business verification for UC procurement.

Privacy notice

Draft for review by counsel before production use.

What we collect

Business details you enter, the certification document you upload and what we read from it, the results of our checks, and basic technical records (date and time, IP address, browser) for sign-in and signatures. We do not ask for tax returns or financial statements.

No biometric data

Certify AI Verify does not collect or use biometric data of any kind: no fingerprints, face images or facial recognition, voice prints, or similar identifiers. The "hash" recorded with a signed attestation is a text checksum that proves the wording was not changed. It is not a biometric.

Who owns the data and how we use it

Certify AI holds the information you provide. By proceeding with an application you agree that Certify AI may use it to process your verification, share the verification result with the University of California for the purchase it relates to, and contact you about this application and your certification, including reminders before a certification expires and help with related certifications.

Marketing, and your opt-out

We may also contact you about other Certify AI services. You can turn this off at any time with the opt-out button on your contact preferences page. Opting out does not stop messages about your application or certification.

We do not sell your information

We never sell or rent your contact information or business data to third parties. We share it only with service providers who help us run the service (for example hosting, email delivery and document reading), under terms that limit their use, and with UC for the verification you requested.
